Sittings worth mining
Spring 2019 โ Fall 2023 (paper era)
Full papers and examiner's reports were released; now the best calibration for question depth.
2024 onward (CBT)
The CAS releases sample items and a content outline rather than full papers.
Recurring question patterns
- One or two questions each sitting on thinning/superposition of Poisson processes.
- MLE plus asymptotic confidence interval is a near-certainty.
- GLM output tables where you must compute a fitted value or a deviance comparison.
- ACF/PACF identification of a low-order ARMA model.
The practice tab reproduces these patterns with original numbers โ work a pattern here, then confirm against the official paper.
